Spine Poetry
Looking for Alibrandi,
Chicken soup for the Teenage Soul on tough stuff,
The Maze Runner,
The body in the woods,
The disappearing body,
Nothing but the truth.
In ELA class, we learned about spine and found poetry. This is my blog for the spine poetry we made. In spine poetry, you try to make a poem from the titles (on the spines) of books.
My poem is about a person who is bored with their life and makes a checklist of things they want to see in their lifetime. They wish that their life was as exciting or action filled as other fictional characters, but don't want to have to be lied to for that to happen (hence the "Nothing but the truth" part).
