Head in the Clouds
Using "To A Mouse" by Robert Burns as inspiration, write a short poem expressing what happens when you have a dream and it doesn't come true.
“Head in the Clouds”
Head in the clouds,
Dream in the sky.
Try to keep dreaming, as life passes me by.
Dream of the future,
life without pain.
I think it’s just my dreams that keep me sane.
In my dreams, I’ve been there.
Wake up in a nightmare.
What to do?
I don’t know.
My dreams are a flower,
Trapped in snow.
“Head in the Clouds”
Head in the clouds,
Dream in the sky.
Try to keep dreaming, as life passes me by.
Dream of the future,
life without pain.
I think it’s just my dreams that keep me sane.
In my dreams, I’ve been there.
Wake up in a nightmare.
What to do?
I don’t know.
My dreams are a flower,
Trapped in snow.
